A Yuuuuuge Breakthrough In Civil Rights
🧵 I went looking for the actual text of the EO on prescription drug prices since no one is actually linking that and I have to do everything around here and I found this that was issued on Friday and I missed it.

Having to know you committed a crime before being charged with it. What a concept.
An Amusing Scam
An account on X called @Gwynneshotwell7 claiming to be Gwynne Shotwell followed me the other day. Out of curiosity, I followed it back. It then initiated a DM conversation with it as following:
Scammer: Hello this is Gwynne Shotwell president of SpaceX Yesterday, 6:10 PM
Me: It obviously is not. Yesterday, 9:24 PM
Scammer: Yeah it true this is my private account and SpaceX is giving new opportunities to everyoneSpaceX. Is giving investment opportunities Potential benefits include substantial monthly revenue, potentially reaching $50,000 per week or more, depending on your investment and agreement. You would also have opportunities to participate in government contracts and partnerships, and contribute to decision-making in pioneering U.S. technology. Furthermore, there’s the exciting prospect of lunar and Martian travel, offering the chance to be among the first to explore new frontiers developed by SpaceX. 4:14 AM
Me: I know Gwynne. You are not Gwynne. 8:49 AM
Scammer: Yeah of course this is me and this is my private account Have we meant before? 10:35 AM
Me: Gwynne is grammatical and knows how to spell.10:52 AM
Scammer: It was likely a typographical error, as previously stated. This is the best chance to build generational wealth; it’s an opportunity you might never see again. Throughout my career as a financial engineer and investor, I can confidently say that this represents the most significant investment return I have ever seen. And of course this is Gwynne Shotwell 11:15 AM
Me: Of course you’re a scam artist. Your account will be ended shortly.

It doesn’t know that I emailed Gwynne this morning about it. I think she knows someone who can do something about this…

Why DOGE Is Important
Tax payers have been funding our opponents. If DOGE continues, the real political dynamic of the US will emerge. This, not the deficit, is why DOGE matters so much. https://t.co/qS9zxGddJ7

This Should Terrify The Corrupt NGOs
🚨 New tool in the works! 🚨
— DataRepublican (small r) (@DataRepublican) April 15, 2025
Today I've been deep in the guts of something ambitious: a system to cross-check Form 990 data, audit reports, and federal spending to flag when an org’s stated purpose doesn’t match where the money’s actually going. 🕵️♂️💸
Here’s how it’s coming…
If I believed in God, I’d say she’s doing His work.
The Bloodless Coup Of The NGOs
Over the last few months, we’ve come to a realization that should have landed much harder: NGOs weren’t just adjacent to government, they were the parallel government. We were shocked. I was too. But looking back, it’s exactly what you’d expect. NGOs operate outside the chain of… https://t.co/xNu8jZKDzt

[Monday-afternoon update]
I've been thinking on the below post, about the NGO problem.
— DataRepublican (small r) (@DataRepublican) April 14, 2025
The Left is structured as a network of NGOs: ruthlessly efficient and ready to act the moment power changes hands.
The Right has no equivalent infrastructure. If I sit down and ask myself, "How would I start an NGO to… https://t.co/v8e9VDbjC6
Britain Is Lurching Toward A Civil War
…and no one knows how to stop it.
I wouldn’t say that no one knows so much as no one with political power knows, or necessarily wants to.
Grifterism
It’s the economic engine of the Democrats.
