I’m no fan, but (unlike the Left) I’ll wait to see how credible the accusation is before I render judgment. For instance, did he tell anyone else at the time?

OK, looks like it was a hoax, and I was right to be skeptical. This is probably actionable, even though he’s a public figure, because it was clearly done with malice.
A nice essay at the New Yorker (though it quotes an “historian” as saying that Nixon “killed Apollo.” Johnson did, and Kennedy probably would have, if he hadn’t been assassinated first).
I agree. As he notes, unity can be a useful tool to achieve good political ends, but it’s a double-edged sword. And disunity is a helpful way to limit government.
Apple, Samsung et al are coming up with new models faster than the demand for them. I’m happy with the Moto G6 I bought for a couple hundred bucks a year or two ago. I don’t see any features in the newer ones that I can’t live without. Of course, I see my cell phone as an evil necessity, not something integrated into my existence. I often forget to take it with me when I go out of the house, and only use it in the house when I need to text.
My brother was visiting out here a year or so ago, and was trying to find these in the store. No one had ever heard of them. The hottest pepper we have locally is habanero. Anyway, I like spicy food (though it makes me sweat) but these people are nuts.
