This isn’t really a commitment. I’m sure the contract has a cancellation clause with a generous penalty. It’s primarily theater for Bridenstine to buy off the Colorado and Texas delegations, particularly after he pissed the latter off with his award of the lander to Marshall.
Hard to see that competing with the price of refined LNG any time soon. If he gets rockets to the point at which he cares about propellant cost (which is the goal), would put himself at a competitive disadvantage with (say) Blue Origin.
I’m watching the game on delay, but what a disaster, on both sides of the ball. In theory, Michigan could still come back and win the Big Ten, and even the national championship, but they’d have to be a lot different team than the one that’s on the field today.
I try to minimize my engagement with both of them, but with an Android phone, it’s hard to avoid Google. But I’ll never download or use an app for Facebook.
