441 people reportedly died of drug overdoses in San Francisco in 2019. In 2020, almost 260 more than that died, which is more than died from covid. Gee, what else happened in 2020 that might have increased the number of drug overdoses?

I’m pretty sure I predicted months ago that this pandemic was going to give us new tools that would be useful far beyond Covid. Like telework, telemedicine, and telelearning, it’s one of the silver linings.
Golden State Republicans should be making hay out of this energy insanity. I shudder to think what our heating (and water heating, and laundry, and dishwasher) bills would be if we had to do it with electricity.
