Last time I was in DC, a couple weeks ago, I tried to have lunch with Iain Murray, but it turned out that he wasn’t downtown, but was at home writing a forthcoming book.
It seems a little spendy, though, if you want to get young people to read it (which should be the goal). Maybe they’ll also have an ebook.

…America may be its strongest since the end of WW II. Makes sense to me; we defeated the Soviets, and we’re a net energy exporter.
Will he get the nomination? It would be a risky thing and a disaster if he won the election, but it’s hard for me to see how he beats Trump. Bloomberg, on the other hand, might have a shot.

Someone on an email list I’m on questioned whether or not it would be permissible to force an impeachment manager on the stand. I see no reason why not; the Senate makes the rules.
