  1. “One might object that this story makes too much of coordination and too little of genuine ideological agreement.”

An influence operation doesn’t need everyone to be in on it, it just needs to influence certain people. Certainly script writers are as lazy as anyone else and are ripe to be co-opted but we can also look at specific events to see what journalists were involved as the initial vectors of memetic propagation.

Molly Hemmingway, and others, have been great at keeping track of the Russiagate journolists.

  2. It was kind of obvious one of them would make some sort of disparaging comment about Trump Republicans or whatever and in no time at all they were all saying almost the exact same thing. Clearly there was tight coordination ideologically based or otherwise. The question is what are the Republicans going to do about it are they going to fight back? Like they’re finally trying to do or hopefully trying to do with Congressional redistricting (and birth right citizenship) the Democrats have been doing that for years.

  3. RIP Rob Reiner (All in the Family “Meathead” for those with a long memory).

It was apparently death by violence; I hope cynically that the chattering class doesn’t decide a Trump supporter had something to do with it.

    1. As you probably know by now, it seems the Reiners may have been killed by their son. Reportedly, their son has a long history of drug addiction.

        1. I thought he was a meat head. I didn’t want him to die. I wanted him to understand reason.

          1. Talking about “war rooms”, are the claims that President Trump was disparaging Rob Reiner after this recent news coordination and influence operation and talking points or is there some substance to this?

What happened to Rob Reiner is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. But all manner of outrage gets expressed about everything Donald Trump says, much of it taking what the man said way out of context. Anyone here fill me in on what is going on?
