1. Prognosticating one’s all-important side of history is hard. What’s a narcissist to do?

2. “Doonesbury” is still around? Who knew (or cared)?

3. I always thought history had survivors, not sides.

4. ams, that’s old-school history. Now it has post-modern narratives constructed (or deconstructed, I forget which…) as-yet-to-be-written by progressives-of-the-future . . . hence the race to win it.

5. Doonesbury spent an entire week declaring Trump as new co-leader of the Tea Party – right when a bunch of Tea-Party-unfriendly facts about Trump were coming out.

6. Trudeau parted company with the real world when Reagan was re-elected, and he hasn’t even sent reality a postcard since.

7. ‘Cubs lost another’??

   M. Trudeau doesn’t seem to know that our President is a *south*sider, i.e. White Sox fan.

   By geography and destiny we don’t give a fig about the Cubbies.
