It’s not destroyed yet, and I still hold out hope, but he and the Democrats have certainly done a lot of damage, and it should be a cautionary warning against him as a presidential candidate.

I dismissed Newsom when it was reveled he was eating sinner with a bunch of elites – all unmasked – at a swanky French resto while he locked everyone else down. That sort of hypocrisy is an immediate turnoff.
It’s status signaling your hypocrisy. Shouldn’t be that hard to destroy this guy in an election – here’s Newsom flouting his own rules.
But at the same time, if you’re a weak Republican candidate looking for any edge you can get, this would be a big one. Get this guy nominated and then bring that up.
