The Truth, At Last

Why we haven’t been back to the moon:

The former head of the US lunar program, Wernher von Braun, said in one of his interviews several years later that certain extraterrestrial forces were even more powerful that humans could ever imagine. The scientist said that someone or something was watching every US-led flight to the Moon.

According to one of the versions, which seems to be rather unreal, all lunar programs were shut down 30 years ago because of the fear to encounter extraterrestrial beings and their immense power. Both the USSR and the USA realized that their presence on the Moon was not desirable at all.

The Earth’s natural satellite is a perfect platform for aliens and their spaceships. The Moon is not far from the Earth and it faces the planet with only one part, which means that aliens can rest safely on the other side of the Moon and they do not have to worry about telescopes. Ufologists say that there is quite a number of alien bases on the dark side of the Moon.

Well, if Ufologists say so, it must be true.

Actually if it were the deliberate policy to not have returned to the moon for the past thirty-seven years, but not explain why, I’m not sure what the government would have done or be doing differently.

  1. Well, if Ufologists say so, it much be true.

I’ve read that the correct spelling is uFOOLogists with emphasis on the fool.

So many conspiracy theories, so little time. We have one group of nut jobs who swear we never went to the moon. Then there’s this other bunch who admits we went but were somehow scared off after 6 landings (discounting the Ranger, Lunar Orbiter, Surveyor, Clemintine, and other missions that returned images from the moon or in orbit). Personally, I’d love for the two groups to tear into each other armed with baseball bats. I’d pay to watch that.

  2. How odd. If this site is to be believed, we do have pictures of the entire lunar surface, not just the side that’s facing the earth.

Obviously the pictures of the far side of the moon must be fake.

  3. The Von Braun/UFO claims are not new. Dr. Carol Rosin, who was Von Braun’s public policy spokesman during the last years of his life, has been making them for years. Allegedly, Von Braun told her that the US government was in contact with multiple alien civilizations and that’s why we need to get rid of space weapons. Or something like that.

This hasn’t stopped her becoming a leader in the anti-space weapons who’s invited to testify before Congress and Presidential commissions.

Her “doctorate,” by the way, is honorary. According to her bio, it is “from Archbishop Soloman [sic] Gbadebo, Nigeria.”

  4. McGehee, the pictures aren’t fake. The aliens OBVIOUSLY have cloaking technology that rendered their ships and bases invisible to our satellites.

    I mean, duh.

    🙂

Now all you need is a motive for covering up alien visits in general.

How does this sound: the power source for the saucers is something that would allow any community college on the planet to build their own plutonium breeder reactor.

  6. Wow, so the Apollo 13 mishap was likely the result of an Alien attack. It all makes sense now.

  7. As a long-time KSC contractor (though no longer), my associates and I concluded long ago that the only “logical” explanation for the way the program has been run from the 70s on was that the whole effort was misdirection – to keep attention away from our fleet of UFOs based at Area-51. The most disturbing thing about that was that we were never completely sure that we were just kidding.

  8. How does this sound: the power source for the saucers is something that would allow any community college on the planet to build their own plutonium breeder reactor.

In other words, the power source is uranium 238. And as a comforting thought for would be collegiate nuclear powers, the earliest experimental breeder reactors were IMHO well within the reach of any group with some particle physicists and a large machine shop. Extracting and refining the plutonium from the irradiated fuel is the hard part.

  9. the power source is uranium 238

No, no! The power source is Elirium 115. The aliens have plenty of it at the pyramids in Mars. After capturing inact alien Power Sources you can research the Power Armor.

If U238 was sufficient to that purpose noone would mess around with centrifuges and the like to extract U235 to run the reactor and generate the neutrons to turn U238 into something useful.

But imagine something like a polywell reactor, but better, running some combination of reactions that could produce both power from high-speed nuclei and copious neutrons. We’ve based proliferation attempts around trying to regulate enriched uranium; it’s falling apart now, but with the right technology it might have fallen apart much faster.

I don’t really know if there are aliens out there, but as far as an alien invasion goes, I doubt you could do better than packing a bunch of dangerous technology into an escape pod with a couple of deceased pilots and crashing it at low speed into the desert somewhere on a primitive planet and wait for the natives to use the stuff to blow each other up.
