I love my new home town! At my son’s high school open house tonight, the principal stood up and said that he was not going to stream the President’s speech on Tuesday. He said he might be forced to change his mind by the Superintendent, but until such time he did not plan to interrupt instructional time for it. Subsequently, the Harford County Superintendent broadcast a phone message to all parents stating that no Harford County schools would carry the speech, because it was a violation of policy to show content to students that had not been previewed and approved by the School Board. Right on, Maryland!
