Equal Rights For Illegal Aliens

What we have here is an interplanetary travesty of justice:

…if the plaintiff is not a person in that he is neither a human being nor a corporation, he cannot be a plaintiff as contemplated by the Rules of Civil Procedure. The entire basis of Mr. Joly’s actions is that he is a martian, not a human being. There is certainly no suggestion that he is a corporation. I conclude therefore, that Mr. Joly, on his pleading as drafted, has no status before the Court.

Careful, you’re going to make him very very angry indeed.

  1. Mmm hmm. The state of the law will have to be revisited in a hurry if and when the Martians (or whoever) show up, but it still makes sense to wait until then to do it, so that we’ll have some idea what we’re doing.

Come to think of it, though, not knowing what they’re doing doesn’t slow down the crew writing our laws now, and maybe working on fixing this “problem” would distract them from more mischievous projects.

  2. oh well, this country was stolen in the first place. i live in a neighborhood that is mostly mexican, and they all seem just fine to me. most of them are normal, honest people who just want to make a living and take care of their families.

  3. I do not understand the reason people are getting so outraged over this latest law. The only thing it will do is give police officers the justification to ask people to present their immigration papers. In almost all countries on the earth that’s absolutely acceptable. Why is this some outrage in The USA?
