I guess you can depict a planet recognizably with just one pixel, so … pretty darn low.

Somewhat related, you can recognize actions of animated figures consisting of only a few moving dots.

I was reading in the economist how it is statistically worse for the environment if we all get in our cars and go driving round to farmers markets etc trying to find our food locally. That uses a lot more carbon ( each of us in our own cars driving 5 miles for one basket of veg) than just letting supermarkets transport our food in a highly efficient bulk manner using much less carbon (space is money for them they want to be efficient). Im also suspicious that a lot of it is tapping into protectionist sentiments that have been proven to be both illogical and bad for the economy.
