For those who might be willing to blame Bush solely for the record deficit, recall that Obama added something like half a billion dollars to the deficit just through two actions taken early in 2009: approving the second half of TARP funding and the Stimulus bill.

Obama may have inherited a “big” deficit, but all he’s done since then is demonstrate how small that “big” deficit can be made to look, when Democrats control all branches of the government.
