This Will Be Entertaining

Mickey Kaus (who I talked to for a while at a party in Santa Monica a few weeks ago, though he didn’t mention this plan at the time) is running for the Democrat Senate nomination against Her Highness, Babs Boxer. It would be hilarious if he beats her.

[Update a few minutes later]

As Mickey says, the LA Weekly spoiled his campaign rollout. I wonder how they got the scoop?

[Late morning update]

I’d pay good money to watch him shred her in a debate. The IQ difference would be at least forty points.

[Early afternoon update]

I hope he calls her “Ma’am” when they get together. I hear she really likes that. 😉

  1. That LA Weekly comments section is a particularly charmless cesspit. They have some… tediously scatological rhetorical tics.

    And apparently can’t tell the difference between a neo-lib and a neo-con.

  2. Bah! Senator-for-Life is the status quo. Why change it now, especially if it’s a Democrat?

  3. Mr. Kaus could definitely go after Boxer on her history of race baiting politics. The way she addressed the National Black Chamber of Commerce CEO, Harry Alford, was just despicable. Of all the research by AGW proponents she had to cite some statement from the NAACP because in her racist little mind she needed to pit one black organization against another black organization in order to give her point some legitimacy. Like Alford said, what does it matter if the people that disagreed with him were white or Asian? A debate should be about the substance of a position and not about the color of the person’s skin.
