I wonder how long the teacher’s unions will resist developing or implementing a curriculum to meet those standards.
Cue claims that the new curriculum is racist in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .
Last week my wife picked up a fourth grade reader that was published in the late 1800’s. Many a high school graduate would be challenged by it. I doubt this new curriculum would use a book at this level for the fourth grade. Still, any improvement is welcome and will be resisted.
I seriously doubt it. They don’t want to fix it. But call me cynical — I homeschool. 😉
