  1. Ironically Idiocracy was a comedy that portrayed the population as ignoramuses so co-opted by their media and their politicians (portrayed as conservatives) that they became unable the help themselves. That little tweak in political philosophy probably got the movie a green light, however it really is a prescient description of the people that are being led by, and comically leading the progressive party in power.

  2. No, Peggy West is sorta correct. The USA doesn’t share a border. We’ve given it to Mexico. It seems that it is their border to do with it what they will.

  3. Well there are people who believe that Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and California are still Mexican territory that happen to be occupied by the USA. Ergo, as Dawson suggests, there is no “border” per say. So from a really twisted and non-reality point of view, the lady could be right.

  4. Actually, as we all know the greatest border threat is from (soi-disant) ‘illegals’ from Canada, thus it should be easy to remember that Arizona borders on Canada.

  5. So it’d be safe to say, she borders on idiocy? Perhaps she was confused because AZ is landlocked by enemy states, like Afghanistan. We have all this beach, but no ocean to go with it.

We have copper and a grand canyon… yep, Afghanistan. Did I mention I’m the oldest of six and grandma had 13?

Yes, my water has electrolytes. Great movie.
