  1. Yes, it’s official: Penny and Leonard’s season-long courtship is seriously on the rocks. After Penny managed to pull off an unambiguous, post-coital reference to The Empire Strikes Back (just in time for its 30th anniversary, too!), Leonard was moved to attempt an unambiguous, post-coital declaration of love for her, i.e. “I love you.” Penny’s response: “Oh. Thank you.” Not good.

Well, it sounds like an evil tv show he’s on, so yeah.

  2. “He hasn’t lived long enough to get past the annoyance of being Wesley Crusher.”

Are we really going to hold a man accountable for a bad character he had no input in creating? It’s not like the people involved would have listened to a 15 year old kid about how the part should be written. Yes the character (as written) sucked, no it wasn’t the kid’s fault.

If only they had written the character as if real Captain’s of large ships would listen to a 15 year old kid about what to do.

  4. Plus, he’s evil to this day.

Of course — anyone who’s watched Season 3 of The Guild knows that…

  5. Rand, you toy with us.

In truth, there has been nothing good on TV since the original Start Trek.

  6. “(Start Trek sounds like something you might buy at the discount auto parts store.)”

To boldly go where no starter motor has gone before.

  7. As good as everyone is on TBBT, Wheaton is hysterical playing himself(?) as Sheldon’s Arch Nemesis. That he (after playing Wesley Crusher) plays against the uber nerds is just fun to watch.

(especially for those of us that WERE comic book – sci fi – techie – A/V nerds it’s nice to watch the other nerd get beat up it means we’re being left alone)

  8. No real gamer, geek, or nerd would watch Big Bang Theory.

An interesting note, you could tell Obama lost his popularity with the masses when he lost trade chat.
