Got an email from SpaceX on this today. Elon is soliciting people to call their congressmen and ask for a NO vote on the house bill.
Since I don’t have a congressman, I can’t help.
WTF? I thought you keep saying that the space program is not supposed to be a jobs program. Now Elon says “The only hope for the average citizen to one day travel to space is in danger due to the actions of certain members of Congress.” So he can’t survive without government dollars? I must not be understanding something here.
He’s clearly overstating it for dramatic effect. He can survive without government dollars, but it will take longer to achieve the goals.
