It’s always about him:
At one point, he warned his crowd of supporters to get out to vote in order to prevent his own embarrassment in November: “Don’t make me look bad, now.” Since he is not up for reelection, apparently the president means that the slaughter of perhaps 50 Democratic congressional representatives and 8-10 senators will reflect poorly upon himself. Of course it will, but he might have instead phrased his dilemma in terms of worry about his supporters’ fates rather than his own, inasmuch as most all voted for his agenda, despite the fact that almost all elements of it polled poorly with the American people. After November, many will be out of a job, not he — and yet his concern seems to be the public perception of his own godhead, not their unemployment.
Have we ever had a president so self absorbed? Since Bill Clinton, that is?

The was a total fluff piece that pretty much did everything it could to make it seem like Obama’s personality was able to win over enough of the public support to eventually get the healthcare reform bill passed through congress. It just sickened me that they were blatantly trying to paint this picture that Obama’s rhetoric was able to turn people to believe this was the way to solve the “healthcare crisis”. Despite the fact that in reality the more Obama spoke the more the polls turned against his healthcare proposals. Obamacare was forced through Congress by Obama/Pelosi/Reid et al, in spite of the public opinion, not because of it. It’s just amazes me that the progressive propaganda machine thinks it can just whitewash this shit and think we will just sit by and ignore it.
How will he punish us? Well, according to the LATimes of all sources, if the Republicans win big and demolish the Democratic majority, he’s going to make extensive use of Executive Orders. So the fight is only just starting.
If the Republicans win big in November, I think that maybe, just maybe, the Democrats will start trying to play the Race Card.
