Indeed, well done.
It felt good to be able to nominate (and get approval for) two NewSpace companies this year. It’s been wonderful to watch Masten advance from struggling startup just a few years ago to a major player in a field (vertical takeoff/vertical landing rockets) that has lots of room to grow. And of course SpaceX’s home run to orbit at with impeccable timing, during contentious Congressional hearings on commercial space flight, was nothing but sweet. I’ve put more commentary on these selections and a few others on my blog.
