Even if the guy was a Republican. would that make the comments acceptable at NPR?
Rather stunning that the ombudsman wouldn’t even watch the video.
Stunning? Naw, the facts and NPR have been strangers for many, many years. And at NPR, they don’t care.
“Shocked” implies unexpected. Appalled or outraged seems to better fit my reaction to theft wing behavior.
And from what the NPR tape revealed, even if he was raised Republican, he was repulsed by their unwashed masses who talk about values instead of international banking policy.
So as Iowahawk would note, the guy was raised as T Coddington Van Voorheeds VIII and went to work at NPR and started voting Democrat because the Republicans just weren’t elitist enough for him, and frankly because they don’t employ enough people of color as manservants and maids.
I’m surprised she didn’t just tweet, “Whatever” and be done with it.
