  1. Re: Mike Lorrey’s point about the age of Obama’s mother. It seems likely to me that there was probably a lower age of consent in Hawaii at the time–it was probably 16. One reason I say this is that when I was in high school (in the early 1980s), there was a girl in my driver’s ed. class who left school and left the state to go to Hawaii to be married. She and her boyfriend (who was several years older) had determined that they could be married in Hawaii when she was 16.

  2. Obama set out the bait and the trap will be sprung.

The only reason to put out a document that was created in photoshop, is to keep the conspiracy alive. I believe Obama was born in Hawaii but without a doubt the BC he released was manipulated in photoshop.

  3. peterh,

    FYI

[[[Kenya is named after a mountain of the same name. The Kikuyu people who lived around present day Mt Kenya referred to it as Kirinyaga or Kerenyaga, meaning ‘mountain of whiteness’ because of its snow capped peak. Mt Kirinyaga which was the main landmark became synonymous with the territory the British later claimed as their colony. However, the name Kenya arose out of the inability of the British to pronounce Kirinyaga correctly. ]]]

Britain took control in 1890, so the corruption of the native name to Kenya dates back at least until then….

  4. Mike Lorrey’s point about the age of Obama’s mother.

According to Wiki, the age of consent in both Hawaii and Kenya is currently 16. It might have been higher in 1961, but the general trend has been for it to rise over time, rather than fall.
