Have they figured out yet why brain sizes are so widely varied between species? I’m pretty sure I’m smarter than elephants and whales, at least on a good day, but I’m also pretty sure that the extra kilograms in the big guys’ heads aren’t some evolutionary mistake. “Brain mass to body mass ratio” seems to be pretty important for whatever reason. By that metric women on average come out ahead.
I know in our family, when it’s time for summer vacation, it’s my wife’s job to figure out where we’re going, where we’re staying, and to make all of the the reservations. But it’s my job to pack the car, because I’m the only one that can make it all fit.
