There were also no rapes, child prostitutions, murders, od’s, combat with police officers, pushing old ladies down stairs, rampant anti-semitism, communists, anarchists, flag burning, calls for violent revolution, or tens of millions in property damage.
“Mostly” peaceful isn’t an accurate adjective.

Don’t you see? The Tea Party is complaining about massive government debt which threatens to ruin the way of life of tens of millions of Americans. Those who survive by sucking off of the government teat can’t stand the thought of actually having to work for a living. And the political class that survives by pandering to the takers could lose power if the money stopped flowing. It’s no wonder DHS considers Tea Party types as terrorists. Those that take and those that pander to them want the gravy to keep flowing forever. Besides, what did our kids and grandkids ever do for us? Ever had to change a loaded diaper? Those kids owe us bigtime.
