I’m not gay, but dang, I’m awfully fond of that Elon feller. 🙂
If Tesla is the recipient of federal grants, I would prefer if Elon remitted the money back to the taxpayer. Tesla, in my view, should stand on its own.
Boh. It probably comes out of his paycheck or profits so I don’t see it as much of a problem. He can do whatever he wants with his own money. As long as he pays back the loan the government granted to him in due course (which does not seem like a particularly difficult thing to do) everything is fine.
The Model X sucks though. Ugly. Especially with those doors. The Model S looks much better and has the makings to be a hit. I also think it was a mistake to announce the Model X before he even started delivering the Model S.
It’s a shame we live in a world where people need the government just to make a new model of car.
