  1. I’ve noticed that Romney supporters have fun with the “binders” flub, but Obama supporters don’t crack “57 states” jokes. We can have a little harmless fun about our candidate’s silly one-liner, but they seem allergic to poking fun at something goofy their candidate said.

Something I didn’t notice until today is that the Obamatons think there’s some kind of lie contained in the “binders” quip. Romney said he approached several women’s groups about women’s resumes, and one particular group says it approached him. Where’s the contradiction? Just because you ask someone to do something isn’t evidence that the someone isn’t already doing it.

  2. The thing to be careful about here is not that the candidate lacks gravitas, it’s that his supporters lack it. Now it’s all about the ground game and Eric Holder and various state officials also come into play. The Dems are good about getting their people in key positions so an Al Franken can win. Here’s where the tea party becomes very important. They’re off the radar, but they are there doing the not glamorous work of the ground game which has to be fought to win.
