   This is a perfect example of the ideological divide. Ultimately it comes down to the difference between people who wish to make increasing use of the coercive power of the collective, to further political and social goals. And on the other hand you have people who see that as dangerous and wish instead to rely on the forces of cooperation and mutual respect.
