It doesn’t make any sense not to tell the truth if all Holder was doing was going after people who leaked national security information. That is the defense of what was taking place with investigating reporters and it might even be believable if Holder and the Obama administration didn’t lie at every turn about what took place.
From a Democrat perspective, it is tragic that Holder perjured himself about something that needed to be done.
Of course just a day or two ago The Daily Beast had an article about Obama asking the Pentagon to create plans for a no fly zone in Syria. The article quoted “white house sources”. So, there are good leaks and bad leaks but what makes them good or bad has nothing to do with the welfare of the country at large, just the welfare of Obama’s narrative creation schemes.

Waaaaay too late for that now. The floodgates would be wide open then and the lo-fo’s, lefty soccies, radicals, Obama butt-kissers would all be smothered in the deluge.
We don’t have enough psycho-emergency interventionists to talk them all off the ledge.
