  1. So there’s a huge pattern. There’s this new burglary over State Deptartment whistle blowers, preceded by the hacking of a CBS reporter’s computer to examine her files remotely, the near disappearance of several key witnesses involved in Benghazi, and the cover-up itself. It’s probably enough to give the Secretary of State’s wife a stroke or something (and perhaps John Kerry’s sailboard is the only place that hasn’t been bugged yet).

Yet Obama’s water carriers in the media soldier on, oblivious. The security camera footage at the law firm could be examined with image enhancement and facial recognition software to identify the lead burglar as G. Gordon Liddy himself and the mainstream media still wouldn’t find any parallels to another paranoid President with things to hide.

    1. the near disappearance of several key witnesses

What exactly is a “near disappearance”? Can we only see part of them now?

      1. Congress has asked to interview key military personnel involved with Benghazi, and the Pentagon’s reply is “We have no idea where they are. Sorry, can’t help you.”

In theory, the NSA could probably find the officers by tracking their credit card transactions, searching the world’s communications traffic for a voice match, or just looking up their current address, but in reality the witnesses have disappeared as surely as the Ark of the Covenant at the end of “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”

Really? Do you have a cite?

in reality the witnesses have disappeared

Are you saying they’ve been murdered? Sent to Gitmo? Put in witness protection? It’s surprising that you can “disappear” US service members without their friends and families making a fuss.

        2. Nobody knows. CBS News coverage of a missing colonel. That’s just one missing witness. There are many more, and Congressional investigators are pretty frustrated.

      2. No Jim, we can not see only part of them. So you are right, it isn’t a near disappearance but rather a disapearance. First thing an innocent person does is prevent witnesses from speaking to investigators. Totally transparent ethical behavior.

We should just take Obama at his word. He ordered a full investigation and preventing witnesses from giving testimony is the best way to get to the bottom of things so we can solve the structural problems that led to this.

I don’t even have to name a scandal. Obama keeps saying the same thing and doing the same actions.

    1. I thought it was spelled “wacist”, like in “waaaah! it’s wacist to point out the truth about Obama!”

  2. In order for this, or anything else under Obama’s administrative mismanagement, to be a ‘Watergate’, we’re missing two things.

First, reporters who CAN write a decent story. Second, media outlets that are WILLING to cut their losses, and who have the guts to print the stories, in the face of wire taps, computer hacking and constant rear orifice probing.

    1. Don’t forget the high likelihood of a fiery death in the middle of a traffic island.

  3. “maybe the Texas AG should have the Rangers look into it”

No “maybe” to it, Rand. 🙁
