As a newly-minted far-Left Progressive, I can categorically state that this is nonsense. To properly read and understand a scientific paper, one must first understand what the New York Times, CNN, Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert think about the subject being discussed. If the paper differs in any way from that, it is to be dismissed as being funded by the Koch brothers, then derided and ridiculed. Any deviation from this method will earn the immediate opprobrium of Comrades dn-guy, Jim, Chris Gerrib, and me, and subject the deviant to ridicule and scorn deserving of flat-earthers and moon-made-of-green-cheesers.
