It is all about funneling O.P.M. back and forth among cronies. I’m sick to death of it. The majority is cowed and both parties like it that way.
From what I’ve seen, the IRS is at least getting $50 million too much. So evidently they have plenty of money to waste.
Well, I can’t say whether the IRS is poorly funded or not. But it sure sounds to me like the NYT needs a little tax audit. We can’t have the 1% not paying their fair share.
