  1. Bibi doesn’t have the luxury of living in the make believe world of the faculty lounge. He has to deal with life as it is, not as he wishes it to be. He’s also being held directly responsible for any mistakes that get made, so that too colors his decision making processes.

Our president on the other hand, never has to deal with the real world. Protected by a lap dog media and his own party, he is free to screw up as much as he wants, as any problems that come up will be spun as victories. It’s hard to learn from your mistakes if no one you are willing to listen to will tell you that mistakes are being made. That’s why some of us thought giving Obama a second term was a really bad idea. With no one (not even voters) to answer to, he was likely (and has) to continue his wrong track trajectory.

    1. Everything that Obama truly knows about the Middle East could be written in crayon on the back of a postcard with room to spare. The man is a sorely miseducated idiot.

  2. It’s disgusting how willing people as a whole are to shill for Hamas’ propaganda. Most of the press just reports whatever Hamas spews out, without bothering to fact check it or even to note that it’s not objective. And people are fully willing to ignore the issue of Hamas committing war crimes by using civilians as human shields. And they are dumb enough to encourage the practice by gnashing their teeth when Israel tries to protect itself and civilians get killed or injured not due to Israel’s desire to harm them (in fact despite many efforts on Israel’s part to avoid them, even at the cost of military effectiveness) but due to Hamas’ desire for propaganda wins. It’s grotesque. And the degree to which folks in the west don’t even appreciate their own complicity in these crimes is infuriating.
