  1. From the article:

“As I say, Mann’s case is entirely different and he obviously has no fear at all of all his papers and workings being trawled through by NR’s lawyers. It is going to be a fascinating case though. For many of us have never really understood why Mann has fought so hard up to now to keep those papers and workings private. As they will be revealed in any upcoming case we’ll all be glad to put our minds at rest, won’t we?”

I wonder if Mann gets his disk drives from the same vendor as the IRS……

  2. I think his objection to the post at CEI, really, is that it came too close for comfort to being demonstrably true — why else would he be arguing it wasn’t expression of opinion but allegations of fact?

    1. …and Dr. Mann, if you’re reading here and think a comment prefaced with “I think…” is an allegation of fact, that would cause me to allege as fact that you are squirrellier than nut shit.

  3. IIRC, when Mann first invented his “hockey stick”, there was no such debate over “climate change”. The contentious debate was over “ANTHROPOGENIC GLOBAL WARMING”. Of course, there is climate change. There is ALWAYS climate change.
