  1. Elizabeth Warren, for all her faults, took a strong position backing Israel in the Gaza War.

Some audience member claiming standing by being a Holocaust survivor expresses the sentiment that Israel should not inflict on its neighbors what in another time was inflicted upon Jews in Europe. No one was claiming Israel was doing such a thing, just that were Israel to do such a thing, it would be wrong.

There are a lot of things to pick on with respect to Senator Warren, but I don’t think this rises to the level of waffling on her recent strong defense of Israel to a less-than-receptive audience.

    1. If the audience member isn’t trying to plant the idea that Israel is doing such things, why bring it up?

That would have been the correct answer from Fauxcahontas, not “That’s fair.”

  2. Paul, we know how hard life must be since Warren is pure evil and you can’t see through it, but please don’t make people go into the gas chamber. Please Paul, don’t do it.

Noting a negative correlation would be fair.

    1. Senator Warren took a stand with Israel in the Gaza War. Quoting Churchill, “If Hitler invaded hell I would make at least a favorable reference to the devil in the House of Commons.”

        1. And your point about Senator Warren and about me commenting on Senator Warren is what? That the junior Senator from the Bay State is just as cynical in her earlier defense of Israel before a liberal group as the junior Senator from Canada, er I mean Texas, was in defending Israel before that group of Middle Eastern Christians?

          1. I’m a bit shocked that you are unable to follow my point.

I’ll have to give my answer more thought but I will say she has revealed her true self which no amount of her words will change. She would have to actually change for her words to carry any actual weight. That isn’t going to happen.

  3. She said that Palestinians and Israelis have the right to self-defense, and that she supports a two-state solution where both sides are secure in their borders. I’m not sure if she’s ever looked into what was going on, because Hamas had dug a huge number of tunnels into Israel so it could carry out kidnappings and murders, which it did (killing three Jewish boys), and then fired thousands of rockets at Israeli civilians. Last year, before Hamas started up, there were only something like 40 people killed in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, about a sixth as many as were murdered in Baltimore Maryland that year. They had peace, but Hamas didn’t like it a bit and drove forward their tunnel and do-it-yourself missile programs, both of which are absolutely useless for defense.

The only way a two state solution is really going to work is if Hamas dies or if the Palestinian state is moved to some island in the southern arctic ocean.

    1. In reality she’s not looking for a resolution or a solution, she’s looking to please her base by saying things they want to hear.

I would hope that the left would have learned by now that putting junior members of Congress into the Presidency was a bad idea for their brand, and the nation.

Looks like that lesson still needs to be learned.

      1. Putting junior members of Congress into the Presidency is exactly what the left wants because the last thing they want is a leader. They have an ideology that permeates their religion and a leader (someone with actual independent thought) would tend to mess that up. It’s a hive mind.
