I’m pretty sure this is a first.
I should note, I really don’t “worship” Branson. I have a lot of problems with him. My piece was more of a reaction to Kluger’s bashing than a defense of him per se.

Leftists only understand the ad hominem and straw man. If you are supporting someone’s work, they assume you are enraptured by a cult of personality. If you are against someone’s work, then you must be on a crusade against that person.
Have you praised Branson beyond the general support for civilian space efforts? Then again this is ThinkProgress making the claim and straw man arguments should be expected.
I’m not generally a big fan of ThinkProgress, but really, their only crime here (and it was minimal) was identifying me as a conservative. It really was a nice round up of thoughts from the other side. Kudos to them for doing this sort of thing, as far as I’m concerned.
It’s interesting how a person’s opinions or conclusions are judged (by some) on the basis of their political views rather than the soundness of their arguments.
Yes, that ThinkProgress column is actually quite nice. Does anybody know offhand of a corresponding one from the right?
