How did evolution become a prominent polling point? Why would anyone’s opinion on this be so important to the Presidency?
It’s important to Democrats because they can ridicule Republicans who don’t believe in evolution as ignorant, gun-toting hillbillies, which lets the Dumbocrats feel superior. In reality, while these people have strong religious feelings, valuing faith over science, they aren’t stupid.
Same reason that late term and post birth abortion isn’t an issue.
Since when is it the Press’s responsibility to winnow down any candidates? Who gave them that power?
