Top Space Influencers

I’d be more gratified by being in this stratosphere if I could see more things happening that I’m actually influencing. But maybe I’m being too impatient. I also wish that being an influencer paid better.

  1. Woo hoo. You made #1. Don’t worry, the fame and fortune will come because we’re moving steadily into that era.

For almost 20 years now I’ve thought you to be the best writer on the subject and I used to breath in books (before I got decrepit.)

  2. Am I the only one to note the irony that Rand rates a #1 Traackr for a phrase he personally detests? “Space Exploration”.

Ye shall be known for that which ye despise…

Someone famous must have already said that… 🙂

  3. I don’t read as widely or have any of the contacts that others do here but I have noticed other writers/speakers take up similar positions as Rand’s. Whether or not that is Rand influencing them or Rand picking up on zeitgeist is tough to say but there always seems to be a vigorous debate in the space community and ideas make their way around pretty quick.

There is a high level of connectedness between journalists, bloggers, advocates, working professionals, fans, and decision makers.

  4. On that top five list: three bloggers and two astronauts. Notably absent: Phil Plait and Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
