  1. My comment before stands. Let them speak out; the country will stand up to protect them. If they don’t speak out, the rest of us will for good reason assume they aren’t really there.
While the investigation was going on, I mentioned repeatedly that if the FBI does nothing, there will be no recourse. Now it has done nothing and only the FBI can fix it. If they want to.

    1. _If_ the majority of the FBI investigators felt that she should be indicted, then they have an obligation to make a press conference to say so. They have had that obligation since Comey spoke. They should not ask for permission, they should just do it, whatever the consequences. I personally don’t believe that there would be consequences, but whether I’m right is not relevant. If they aren’t doing it, either the story is not true or they are collectively letting the country down that they have sworn to protect.

  2. MikeR,

When you say “Let them speak out; ” how do you mean that? Do you mean:

Someone should allow them to speak out,

    or

as in they should just speak out (e.g. “Let them try to fill-in-the-blank and see what happens”)

Hard to describe the difference – tone of voice would make it clear – but I want to understand what you are saying

  3. The govt. is filled with cowards that are afraid of losing their benefits. Even if they did want to speak out the media would ignore them. Soon, the 2nd amendment solution will be the only option left, but it will not succeed.

  4. Who will protect them?

The GOP who wont do anything to rein in Obama’s abuses of power? The media who acts as the pravda wing of the Democrat party? The Democrats who destroy people’s lives and would even jail those they find troubling? The judicial branch of government which has given up any pretense of enforcing the law?

  5. I’m giving some inside the FBI some slack. Sometimes, its easier to fight things from the inside, rather then putting yourself outside then trying to fight what is inside. I’m seeing signs of pressure.

There was no reason for Comey to explain his labor day release of documents except for internal pressure. It’s not like the MSM cared and the labor day release. They hardly noted it and have shown themselves to be in the tank for Hillary. Yet Comey came out later to explain himself. Then even later publically complained about being identified accurately as a weasel. Someone is giving him heat, and it is not the Republican Congress, and it is not the media or (one-in-the-same) the Administration. So it must be internal pressure from the FBI and DoJ bureaucrats.

  6. Here in the People’s Republic, there are a number of houses on the West Side with the owners expressing their solidarity with BLM through pro-BLM yard signs.

There are also houses in the same neighborhoods with “We Support the Madison Police” yard signs, which I suppose if not overtly anti-BLM, could be interpreted as supporting the counter-narrative. Given peer pressure and community conformity, I am thoroughly puzzled why people would, in the words as they are spoken Japan where social conformity is values, be the “nail sticking out that gets hammered down”?

I am contemplating placing a yard sign “Hillary/Kaine” together with “We Support the FBI.”

Would heads explode if I did this?
