  1. Wow, I bet that woman is popular at dinner parties. It’s nice that even some leftists recognize Obama for what he was, but (especially in the comments) she’s hyperaggressive to the point of mindless rage. Not someone I’d want to talk to or even be in the proximity of.

  2. It shows how clueless the left is if they just figured out what a Wall Street corporatist Obama is.

I guess using a lot of swear words makes you really, really cool and gives you incredible political acumen.

  3. Why do you suppose some turncoat conservatives (Christopher Buckley, Megan McArdle) liked Mr. Obama if he wasn’t an agent of the Deep State Establishment?

  4. I’m not sure what the writer thinks “progressivism” is. When the government has the unlimited power progressives want it to have, there is no other outcome than to have the rulers and the wealthy in cahoots. Unless “progressivism” means the destruction of wealth, and subsequently of human life on earth, that is.

    1. As the InstaPundit says, “Under capitalism, the wealthy become powerful. Under socialism, the powerful become rich.”

Call it progressivism, socialism, statism, or whatever term you like, there are basically two kinds of people who support it. The first group thinks they’ll get a lot of free stuff without having to work. The second group believes they’ll be the ones running everything. Both are deluded economic illiterates who fail to understand human nature or who even deny it exists.

  5. Well, he was dishonest, incompetent, worked against the interests of the United States and was setting up a secret police state inside the government which would corruptly attack, smear and censor opponents in cooperation with major media organisations. He was evil and he gathered evil around him to do his work.

  6. Perhaps Obama is no longer one of the annointed ones.

Clearly Bernie Sanders is….he got his third dacha – this one situated on Lake Champlain – and it’s worth ~$675,000.

    From the Lefties?

    1. You are not visiting enough left wing groups on facebook then… There are screaming matching between democrats now over bernie. A growing number want him tossed and I have seen dozens of memes about bernie’s home buying. I see democrats all the time saying .. if you support bernie take me off your friends list.

The big tent .. as always … is fighting with itself.

      1. “A growing number want him tossed…”

        A growing number? Prove it.

No MSM (read lefty – Dem operatives with bylines) are underscoring Bernie’s 3 houses…Bernie’s sellout).

What campus riots are occurring which protest against Bernie’s 3 dachas? Were are the “Bernie Sellout!” signs?

Where’s the NY Times article labeling Bernie as a sellout?

When has Stephanopolous hammered a Bernie supporter over this?

        Or John Dickerson?

        Or Scott Pelley?

Or Nancy Pelosi?….She of the multi-millions herself?

        Or Up-Chuck Schumer?

        Hmm?

        1. If the big democrat money men brought attention to Bernie being paid off, it might bring unwelcome attention to their own finances.

      2. Because he is acting “1%-level Rich”? -or-
When Bernie contested She-Who-Must-Be-Elected he obviously, obviously! threw the election to the Anti-Everything Trump.
My bet is on the second reason.

  7. Personally Rand, I am surprised you even have a single follower left with a computer. I mean all of them must have been out of work the last 8 years, none with a home much less money for an internet connection and the ability to even comment. Yes it has been tough living in a box under a bridge the last eight years and no gun to protect yourself.

    1. The economy didn’t start improving until the last year or two and even then, gdp growth was tepid. It was also uneven, with many parts of the country still having high unemployment. The economy was, and is, very fragile otherwise interest rates would have risen.

There are other things to consider too, like the return of slavery, tens of millions displaced, and millions of refugees destabilizing countries in the ME and EU. How many cities had their women raped and sold into sex slavery because of Obama and Hillary?

NK is festering, Iran will get nukes, Iran is using the flush of cash for military buildup of conventional arms, China is seizing huge swaths of international waters, and on and on.

Obama spied on Americans he considefed enemies and attacked them with government agencies, including Jewish groups. He spied on reporters and politicians. He tried to create violence in Mexico to justify gun bans in the USA. He took the first step in destroying the healthcare industry.

Obama even used the DOJ to help organize Democrat activist groups that were in part funded through settlement money from banks. These activist groups waged a campaign of violence and destruction across the country and are today being used as a street army to attack anyone who isn’t a Democrat and wants to participate in society.

And let’s not forget that Obama ordered Lynch to make sure nothing happened to Hillary for her pay for play foundation, illegal server, and illegal use of classified information.

The foreign policy catastrophies and the totalitarian fascist actions at home can’t be erased by a recently improved but fragile economy.

Also, you might have done well but that doesn’t mean your experience is universal. You might want to broaden your social circle and gain some empathy for those less well off because you attitude is how we got Trump.

    2. If you don’t understand the jobless participation rate, then you don’t understand the Trump phenomenon.

      1. Exactly…that and the number of part time jobs people have to work to make ends meet.

I’ll be watching the participation rate closely.

Get ready for Vlad’s buddies in the MSM to start screaming about the rising unemployment rate if/when the job participation value goes down (meaning people who have given up are starting to look for work again).

  8. So is the Secretary of the Treasury (again) a former Goldman Sachs operative or not. It doesn’t matter who gets elected regardless it if comes from one side of the aisle or the other.
