  1. If you live in California this is old old news. Illegal Mexican and Central American immigration was a big factor in turning a redish state deep blue. The state is now being looked at as the prototype to follow for progressives everywhere.

    1. The old days: black(ish) people passing as white.
Yesterday: Rachel Dolezal passing as black.
Today: Robert “Beto” O’Rourke passing as Mexican.
      Tomorrow: Who can guess?

  2. “Who wants to solve the crisis? Not Congressional Democrats. They don’t want a solution; they want the issue.”

While I agree with this, I don’t see the GOP getting off their collective butts and crafting a simple clean bill to solve one issue (the family separation thing).

They could be using this issue to humiliate the Democrats but refuse to play hardball.

    Morons.

  3. I suspect there isn’t a 100% solution, but a great deal of headway could be made with 2 simple (but perhaps not easy) steps:
    – Cut the bennies.
    – Enforce the law when illegal aliens are found in crimes beyond simply being here illegally. Arrest, prosecute, and deport. This includes identity theft and voter fraud.

Those not leaching our social benefits and otherwise keeping civilized to avoid confrontations with the law are, honestly, a low priority for deportation.

Democrats I expect would go nuclear if they thought it necessary to block either of these.
