  1. Will never watch anything that involves that juvenile hypocrite. Progressive is one thing, but TDS has completely unhinged his mind.

  2. Don’t get your hopes up. Another social justice warrior type, with a strong track record as a sexual predator hiding beneath a cover of feminism, according to his <a href=https://theralphretort.com/hiliarious-joss-whedons-wife-calls-hypocritical-preaching-feminism/"ex-wife.

    Definitely past his best-before date.

p.s. whatever happened to the post preview button?

  3. How can he make a TV show at the same time he’s saving the world from Donald Trump? That’s like Superman level multitasking.

  4. I wonder if it will have a scene in which a woman has this magic syringe. She takes this drug. And if she were, for instance, raped, the rapist would die a horrible death. Later, we can have a guy, who has been sexually harassing her, come to the woman’s rescue only to find a group of dead men surrounding her, they having died after gang raping her.

He considered such a scene for Firefly for the purposes of making some kind of point about slut shaming. Which is different than firing a female actress for getting pregnant.

    Alas, I don’t have HBO.

  5. HBO has some entertaining shows that rise above the rest of stuff on TV, so it could be good. They also need to replace Game of Thrones, which wont be easy. But I wonder if Wheedon is using the Weinstein defense of using political work to seek abolition for his sins.

Titled The Nevers, the series is described as “an epic science fiction drama about a gang of Victorian women who find themselves with unusual abilities, relentless enemies, and a mission that might change the world.”

Tough to say at this point.

  6. Nothing he does for the rest of his miserable, deranged, leftist life will ever come close to matching “Firefly”. It beats me how he made that.

    1. I tire of dumping on people because of their politics. I liked Firefly, Buffy, and other series, and the first Avengers (haven’t seen the latest one). I say give him a chance.

      1. Well said, Rand. It’s not much different than the protest against Ender’s Game due to OSC’s political views. I’ve never understood why anyone cares about the political views of athletes and entertainers.

        1. I’ve never understood why athletes and entertainers care about the political views of their patrons. Yet they do, so I see no reason they alone should get a voice.

        2. I tire of entertainers interjecting foreign material, such as their ‘personal’ politics, into their business activity. Mostly because it is Crappy Art.

Think of it. Almost every witty one-line interjection about some hot, trending event will be Totally Irrelevant in a few short months or years. Like suddenly seeing a “Pink Elephant wearing a Tutu” the future viewer will wonder of the relevance and the ‘Why?’ of its inclusion. Crappy Art … inserted for the Artist’s vanity.

Entertain me with material that is relevant. If you want to politicize about the extraneous then rent a venue someplace and orate til you drop.
