  1. “I love the creativity of Rejuvenate Bio. Getting SOCOM to fund their research is a great use of DoD dollars.”

Depends…are they trying to merely increase canine longevity and or rejuvenate old dogs, or are they instead more trying to create some kind of souped-up physically enhanced hyper aggressive killer dogs? If it is the former then okay but the later would be a mixed blessing to say the least; especially if they engineered them to be smarter as well. They somehow escape into the wild and interbreed with wild dogs (and wolves)…just saying.

    1. What I see is a start-up that needed to translate their technology from a small rodent model to a large animal model. Using their technology to extend the life of a military or civilian law enforcement dog seems a pretty good way to get the government to pay for your translational model. Lot of time and money goes into training these dogs so even a year or two increase in working life would be great.

  2. Not to mention that if they’re successful, extending the life of beloved pets is a HUGE business model. They would be able to fund their Human targeted development work from pocket change (maybe I’m exaggerating just a tad).
