  1. Nah. The two missing spouses were having an affair together and ran away to Mexico. A few days later the Federales found their car abandoned in the desert between Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, but no trace was ever found of the two illicit sweethearts.

Robert Reed always looked a little too tan on that show, IYKWITAITYD.

    1. William Barton’s Brady Bunch: Marcia and Greg’s relationship to Cousin Oliver turns out to be like the Leospiders’ relationship to the Frogmen. 🙂

  2. Let’s not jump to hasty conclusions, and accept this at face value. It’s still possible that Trump was responsible.

  3. Hey Rand, you never seen the Brady Bunch? It comes on every Sunday on METV. You should watch it one Sunday. It is a great show. It does not show current events for that time. No mention of the Vietnam war, or women burning their bras. In one episode Jan loses a locket that someone sent her, but didn’t signed their name anonymous. In another episode, Greg steals a goat, that was a high schools mascot.
It was filmed with one camera, and had lots of outdoor scenes. In one episode they go to the Grand canyon, and in another one they go to Hawaii.

      1. It’s weirdly timeless. In addition to no topical references, the haircuts are so out of fashion for 1969+ you might guess it takes place in 1964. Rock-star guests include Davy Jones (The Monkees) and Desi Arnaz, Jr. (Dino, Desi, and Billy). There were any number of interesting guest stars, including Jim Backus and Natalee Schafer (Mr. and Mrs. Howell from Gilligans Island) and even Vincent Price.

  4. IMHO the X-Files episode that was a commentary/affectionate parody of the Brady Bunch was more enjoyable than the actual show.

  5. Oh come on. I don’t know about Mike’s wife, but one of the movies clearly spells out that Carol’s husband, the Professor, went on a 3-hour tour and was never heard from again.
