  1. Another advantage of fake porn is that it’s not tempting people to use their bodies to make money in that seedy business. Many people have been victimized and had their lives ruined in that industry. It’s unfortunate for the victims of AI generated porn, but like the article points out, those can be easily dismissed as deep fakes.

What about a different sort of blackmail…you can be accused of something you didn’t do even if you have taped evidence you are innocent (Your home cameras showing you somewhere else when alleged crime occurred for instance), only for the prosecution/accuser’s to scream your evidence is “deepfake”? At some point people/courts of law/public opinion might simply loose faith in recorded evidence from nearly anything security cameras/smart phones etc. We could find ourselves back to a system where who screams/weeps/emotes/lies the most convincingly in court carries the day. Where you feel better not to chance it just pay (or plea bargain–pleading guilty to a lesser offense you also didn’t do).

Maybe that is the problem. They aren’t raising well adjusted people but creating sociopaths who would benefit from a little attitude adjustment.
