Confederate Theater

“In regards to the deployment of national guard soldiers, I hear people on the left say that they are anticipating a ‘Kent State’ moment.

Personally, I expect to see a ‘Ft. Sumter’ moment even sooner. As a prelude, I would expect to see a Harpers Ferry type incident occur within a deep blue state. And by Harpers Ferry, I refer to a prelude incident where a Federal facility is attacked inside of a blue state by a local zealot.”

That already happened, in 2020, with the federal building in Portland, but the Democrats told me that it was “mostly peaceful.”

[Late-morning update]

Welcome to reactionary, neo-confederate Portland.

  1. Violence is the strategy to mobilize Democrat voters for the midterms. It relies on local and national news not telling the public about acts of violence and only the response to it while niche media serving Democrats celebrates the violence.

It could be any cause, it just happens to be ICE right now.

The current issue is the use of the NG and Democrats could stop the NG from being deployed by two simple things. They could stop using organized violence as a strategy and the Democrat mayors/governors of these places could use their police powers to stop the violence.

That’s the whole problem. The use of violence is the strategy. Democrats organize the violence while using the powers of government to prevent anyone from stopping the violence. This is also why any civilians who impede the violence are the ones arrested.

    1. What I find interesting in the latest news out of Chicago. Whereby a call from ICE for protection from a mob was refused by the CPD. Bill O’Reilly says Pam Bondi should seek prosecution of those responsible for refusing police protection. But I wonder what the legal basis of such a thing would be? Just because O’Reilly thinks it’s criminal doesn’t make it so. I think it would be if we were talking about private residents of Chicago. But Federal officers with their own police powers seems like a grey area. Also there is a question of jurisdiction. Would this case be tried in Illinois courts? Seems like a conviction would be unlikely. In Federal court there might be a better chance, but not in Cook County. Remember, ’twas the land of Al Capone vs the “Untouchables”. You might be able to make a case for obstruction of Federal officers or National Guard soldiers trying to perform their duty. I suspect there may be statutes on the books that make such actions a federal crime. I’d recommend trying such cases in Indiana.

      1. I don’t know but it is really messed up that Democrats organize violence and then Democrat mayors and governors refuse to stop Democrats from engaging in violence and Democrat DAs and judges refuse to punish Democrats who engage in violence.
