[Inauguration Day update]

Well, he didn’t pull any punches. Well, actually he did in the speech, but not afterward, because he could have talked about January 6th, but didn’t. He probably didn’t know about the pardons because Biden did them just before, or he might have.

I wonder if a pardon that doesn’t say what the pardon is for is valid? In any event, pardoning them won’t prevent an investigation into what really happened, and the truth coming out. And I doubt that the pardons will apply to perjury, and pardoned people who are subpoenaed won’t be able to plead the 5th, because they won’t be in legal jeopardy.

A lot of us knew this during the mayoral compaign, but apparently not enough, or the Hollywood types found it a(nother) reason to vote for her: Karen Bass is a lifelong communist (and particularly Castro) sympathizer.
