How it screwed over James Damore.
Looks to me like a good basis for a lawsuit, from a company with very deep pockets.

Which one is better?
Not having read a comic since I was an adolescent, I’m insufficiently nerdy to have an opinion, but Treacher takes on the crucial issue.
…would make them more expensive.
I’ve never given our 65″ Vizio (which we bought a year ago) our wifi password. It has no information other than what comes in through the HDMI cable. It’s purely a monitor. I don’t talk to Google, and I won’t get an Alexa. I’ve never installed Facebook on my phone, and I turn off my location unless I need it. I don’t want the tech giants spying on me and selling my data. Because at some point, the government is going to demand it, and they’ll comply.
How old are we when we’re old?
I’m well into my sixties now, but I don’t feel old at all. Or at least, no more so than I did twenty years ago. In some ways, probably because of improved diet, I feel like I’m in better shape. I do need to work out, though. I’m planning a lot of business travel this year, and starting a new space venture, and I feel as up to it (perhaps more, given my experience) as I ever have.
No, conservatives are not angry because she danced on a rooftop.
I had a stupid Twitter exchange with one of these idiots yesterday.
Narrator: One idiot, not "The Right," called her a nitwit for that. She has, however, demonstrated in many other ways, unrelated to exuberant dancing, that she is a nitwit. https://t.co/68SbaEimrI

Who are "they"?

It's a special kind of stupid to extrapolate to an entire party the behavior of a single individual.

Sorry, man. That’s the mentality of the gop. You can deny it all you want. It’s truth.

Yes. When I was a kid, people dressed up to fly, but of course, airline tickets were much more expensive prior to deregulation. I wear business casual when I fly, but this is one of the reasons that it was so stupid of the head of TSA to make air marshals wear business suits. It made them stick out, and obvious which ones they were.
I’ve been saying this for years. The problem isn’t coming up with enough calories; it’s about feeding people a healthy diet. But the calorie-counting insanity is going to cause poor health all over, not just in the West.
Ashe Schow writes that now it’s become the latest thing to be problematic.
Thoughts from Roger Kimball on his “pathetic crusade” against Trump. I agree that the criticism, particularly after he got Trump’s endorsement for Senate, was a churlish act of ingratitude. As I noted on Twitter, Trump was right; if Romney had gone after con-man Obama the way that he went after Trump, he’d have beaten him.
“How it made me a better American.”
I will continue to praise Trump when he does something good, and criticize him when he behaves stupidly and boorishly.
[Update a few minutes later]
Per Karol’s comments about her disappointment with herself over not being more concerned about Obama’s depredations on the law and decency, a few months ago I started to put together a list of similarities between Obama and Trump, and there are more of them than either of their supporters want to admit:
Feel free to add in comments.
[Late-evening update]
I want to thank all those in comments who proved my point about the blind supporters of Trump being unwilling to recognize the similarities with Obama. I hope some Obama supporters will weigh in as well, to reinforce it.
