Obama is not only anti-gun, but a slick and clever liar when it comes to gun rights. All during this campaign when an earlier statement or vote might cause Obama trouble, Obama is very careful to never repudiate his prior anti-gun position and only give vague reassurances about “supporting the Second Amendment”.
This is a calculated effort to deceive the voters, and the press (biased even more anti-gun then they are pro-democrat) are happy to provide him with cover for the deception.
