My response to Ashley is there are far more supporters of HAMAS on the left than on the right. just look at who is going to the protests against Israel. Christians and their institutions are attacked by the left in LA for exercising their right to vote. Israel has been attacked in Europe by the leftist press for years and then told it’s their own fault when violence is perpetrated against them. Those same people apologize to Islamists for not giving genocidal murderers everything they want. The people you point out are the exception not the rule.

Actually, they don’t. They hate monotheists other than Islam. (They’ll tolerate UK Anglicans, Presbyterians, and Methodists, aka the ones that are losing members.) They’re pretty happy with the various “nature” religions.
This may be due to their opinion that history always runs in one direction. They figure Islam has already been taken care of and can never be a problem again.
