I will comment on this in a couple of days as I have some expertise in this area. Both ends of it in fact!
I am too tired now as I spent today at an excellent high round count handgun course and will be spending tommorow doing likewise. We even had a night fire exercise.
So, I spent today ‘contaminating’ a range with around 600 well-expended rounds of 9mm ball.
The crux is be that lead oxidises and becomes immobile unless the soil pH becomes low.
